Abstract:

Brucellosis is an acute and chronic disease of cattle and can be transmitted to human beings. This disease is associated with numerous clinical manifestations and the rate of incidence of its skin complications is 5% in the affected patients. One of its rare skin complications is brucella abscess. In this study a 9-years old girl is presented with skin abscess of the posterior part of right ankle and by performing laboratory tests the Brucella melitensis was diagnosed.
